Today I will share my review, with no malice to the people working here. They were severely understaffed, which is why I give them two stars and not one. I do understand the situation. My order was late by around 30 minutes. I was willing to overlook many things that were outside of the locations control. Let’s focus on the food. The sides were cold. The gravy wasn’t included for the mashed potatoes. And sadly, not only did I have to cut the Turkey myself due to the cutting boards at the restaurant being washed at the time, but it was not fully cooked. At the end of the night, I had to throw it away. Ultimately, from what I have seen of other recent reviews, this chain has a systemic issue with quality and service, and I will not be visiting them again at any time in the near future.
Haven’t had Boston market forever and every location I’ve ever been to has been delicious… that was not the case here and from the looks of the other reviews it’s consistently bad here. Meatloaf was the only option for the next 2 hours… cornbread was very cold. Drink machine coke freestyle had 2 options available with no ice and the drinks coming out very warm. I wish my food was as warm as this drink lol. Wish i would’ve bought a frozen dinner i would’ve had better quality than this.
The entire time I was there I felt like I was bothering the employees. There was no one else in the store but I still felt like I was a problem. It felt like there was a joke that I wasn't getting. After we paid and were leaving we were asked if we wanted the cornbread that comes with the meal. At that point it wasn't worth the time to wait and bother the employees further. We also asked if they were out of anything when we walked in, and were told it was only the meatloaf gone. However, when we attempted to order for advertised items on the window that were not meatloaf, they stated they didn't have those items. The food we did get was not bad but I won't go back based solely on food. Just a bad experience.
Been ordering rotisserie roast from Ubereats, door dash, etc. not knowing it was Boston market but I understand now Boston market reviews are sub par mostly due to customer service they won’t even answer the phone. I ordered the whole rotisserie showed up skinless some how I don’t know if it was drop or just not handled with care but I don’t even want a refund just want people to know there’s food places that will take your money and treat you & your food like $hit don’t eat at these places to fund this behavior you & your families deserve better
I had not been to this Boston market in a while so I decided to stop by and ask for a family meal for three two weeks ago. The young lady who didn’t look presentable told me we are only selling quarter chicken. Then, I asked if they had fresh sides because the food they had there looked really dry and she said we are cooking it you would have to wait 20 mins.
Before I get to details, I first want to say that this has not been a good experience, me and my family went there and the service was bad, every options you wanted to pick or choose to eat was not available when the restaurant is still opened, and the atmosphere wasn't really that great when I got in. Though I am not upset, but I am genuinely disappointed. After all the restaurants I been, this has been the most disappointing restaurant I have ever been. Now that I already said my opinion, I will get to the details. When I first got in, the place was nearly empty, it looks bland, and there is nothing I can really say that was good, other than the chairs we sat in was okay. We came in and saw the people working, so we went towards them and they immediately said "Oh we already ran out of Chicken". We were a bit surprised, so we asked if we can order something else like the ones we really wanted, and surprisingly they already ran out, so we asked another category, then another again, but all of the main categories are already ran out, so it was nearly pointless going here. We asked how many minutes will we wait for the chicken to come back, and they said 40 minutes, so we patiently waited, and when it was ready, we got to the front counter and asked for our order again. The girls weren't really responsible of how they handle our orders, and one of them The Cash Counter Person wasn't really nice. They gave our food, so we headed back home, and brought it to the table and the things we ordered are: Rotisserie Chicken, Sweet Mash Potatos, Cornbread, and corn. We opened the box and they spill the barbeque sauce every where, because it wasn't closed. They didn't even try to close it, they were rushing it, when there were barley any people coming to that restaurant, and the food is okay, but I recommend getting somewhere else. 10-20 dollars for something that taste okay is terrible, and I would not go here again. Thank you for reading my review, and if the people who are working there reading this, I would like yall to be more responsible next time, thank you and have a good day!
We ordered the big turkey dinner for $159.00 and I'll never do that again. The turkey was surprisingly fine. We thought we would get the dressing and cranberry sauce that they sell in their store and omgosh it was horrible. Nothing like what we're used to getting from Boston Market. The mash potatoes were the same but the rest was awful. A few took a bite of the 2 pies and spit them out. We had our dinner the day before so we had to go up to Albertsons and ALSO PURCHASE their dinner items to go along with our turkey. It was awful what we were served. Everyone was so excited to know we were getting their food at first because we love it, especially their dressing and cranberry sauce. The cranberry was gummy and tasted nothing like it does in their restaurants. We opened can stuff to replace it. I'm so disappointed over spending so much money and not being able to eat it. Then having to go buy more food so I could feed our 12 guests. Ps the person packing our food left half of it out and I had to keep telling her what was missing even though she had a list. I was the first person there and no one else to pick up food so she wasnt too busy. She tried over and over to send us home with things missing. On top of that she just couldnt be helpful in any way. It was an awful all around experience
I have been going to this place off and on for almost 30years. This place was absolute garbage. From the food to the service. The girl that served us looked absolutely miserable working there and the food tasted old. This message is for Tim- the regional manager…..You need to do better! Get this store back on track! It was absolutely awful!
I thought it was a one time thing. I ordered from BM on Little Rd Arlington 3 times. Each time they forgot my sides and corn bread, didn't have my drink twice, and didn't give me my desert. I thought I was being smart by picking up my own order and they gave me the wrong sides and no drink. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE and needs to do a staff override or a complete shutdown!!!
We went there today at 1 pm. I couldn’t even order the food because the veggies were gross looking. The containers were half empty and the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese were both crated over like they were at least a day old. I’d never been to this location before. The one we live near never has any issues with fresh food. I’ll never try this place again. We walked out.
