My experience at this store today was absolutely appalling. First, let me make it clear that i have never once stepped foot into this particular walgreens, although i have shopped at many walgreens over my lifetime. I bought 2 shampoos accidentally at another walgreens a few weeks ago and by the time i realized my mistake the receipt had been long gone. I came to this store today to exchange this shampoo, after jumping through all the hoops and finally getting a managers approval, i had to leave to go pick up a friend from work and decided id come back after to complete my shopping. An hour later i came back with my boyfriend. I started getting the items i needed and my boyfriend noticed the manager was following us and staring at us. At first i thought, he was being paranoid but surely every aisle we went down there she was staring at us. Meanwhile i have the card im paying, the receipt given to me with the card balance and the item i was buying all in my hands. I walk to the register and the manager, Terry, follows us and states that shes not returning the item in my hand. At that point my boyfriend looks at her and asked what her problem was. We are paying for this, not returning anything. He asked why she was following us around and asked for the manager. She said she was the manager and can effin follow whoever she wants. We were treated like thieving criminals as we were checking out. Never in my life have i ever been treated this way and there was absolutely no reason for her to behave so unprofessionally and harass us the way she did. Like i stated in the beginning, until today ive never been in this store, and after today i will never set foot in there again.
