I bought a tide pods box and later realized I got the wrong scent. I went to exchange it and I ended up waiting a half hour or so because they needed to take extra security precautions since it was listed as a high theft item. I don't see what was such a high risk. I had my receipt and I was basically exchanging it for almost the same exact item. Same box type, price and pod count. The only difference was the scent was different. They took 30 minutes or so only to confirm which door I came through. That's poor customer service. They need to dumb down on that policy, especially since there was no way that could have been a theft attempt.

This Walmart was the least of my favorite. But, I have a change of heart. I didn’t have a good experience the first time I order my cake...Something told me to go back to Walmart to make sure my cake order was right? I was greeted with a smile & hello from Mrs. Jamie (In Bakery department) the next day. She and I went over my cake order from the day before and my cake order was incorrect from the previous rep. Mrs. Jamie went beyond and above to make sure everything I needed for my Big Sister birthday cake was correct.( I was stressing) She even called me to let me know everything was good & Done...She is a great asset to this company and she gets the heart service award from me and she made this Walmart on platte my Favorite. Great Customer Service Jamie! Job well done. Thanks

Love the store. But the people that works for the store always seem to be in a bad mood. And just rude. Not everyone that work here is rude...because actually it is really some great people here. Store seems to be always clean and well stocked.

Great staff. Quick service. Not a 24 hour location except for the Christmas holiday season. Convenient location being nearby the Olympic Training Center, Knob Hill, and the Memorial park neighborhoods. Can also order online and pick up at this store.

Ugh. A place I try to avoid. The only way to get in and out relatively quick is to go through the satellite register stations and not up front. If you don't have 20 minutes to stand in line don't even try the front registers. Not enough of them are open at peak times. You will see staff all over but no one opens registers to keep lines moving. If you get lucky and see a new cashier open or show up, its usually to give the one you're at a break or send them home, not for reinforcement intent. They have little i stock for me any way. More and more they discontinue items/products I have used for years just out of the blue. Prices go from affordable to ludicrous over night on what they do and did carry before the discontinuance of the one item I went in there for. This was a recent occurrence by the way, and not the first time. ACADEMY BANK is awesome. Great people!
