I don't feel the staff is as helpful as they are in other stores. I had to beg the guy in floral for a simple boutonniere vial. I purchased several dozen flowers for a photo shoot and I need 1 vial. He explained how much they cost. I told him that I would be happy to pay for it. He still gave me an attitude. To top it off the security guard, who seemed to be taking a break in the section.  Had to let him know that I was snooping around looking for it while he was away from the area. The clerk,  clearly annoyed by my request finally slammed one vial of the counter then turned around keeping his back to me. Next time I will go to the floral store around the corner.
I just returned from a trip and wanted a good home cooked meal. My 1st stop was vegetables it took a bit of searching but I found 2 sweet potatoes. Next stop was the meat department. I found I could get fresh meat for 16 or 17 dollars a pound. The lower prices meats had a selection of meats. Many of the packages show that it has been around for a while. The packaging seemed to be stretched and the edges were brown. This made it very difficult to find something that I thought they we would enjoy. 
I did find some fresh asparagus that cooked up wonderfully.  
The lines at the checkouts were long, they crossed the aisle. Not much of a choice at this point other than to wait.
This store is close to my home but I have found that driving out to the store on 115 is a better choice with selection, quality and customer service.

I do not recommend shopping here.

I have never in my life met such a rude security guard. I had checked out and was about to exit the store. There was a lady needing help with her wheelchair.  There was another lady saying, “Excuse me” and trying to get his attention for some help. He totally ignored her. I finally said, “Excuse me, “ loudly to get his attention also. He turned around and hollered, “ You don’t need to be saying excuse me! I hear her!!”  This person is always incredibly rude. Had he acknowledged her in the first place and shown that he’d heard her, I wouldn’t have become involved. I realize that he’s usually there and probably very dependable but he’s not good with people and not helpful. The cashiers and the other staff are always kind and helpful.

I haven't been able to find cake flour, lard, and a couple other items I would think a grocery store should have (maybe these items don't sell well at this location). The employees are usually helpful and nice, it can be tough at times to get the meat department to cut certain items however. The ethnic isle is half an isle with very limited selection.

Clean store and a killer zone. Everything was organized and looked well thought out. Areas where stock was low was fronted across the shelves so you didn't have to reach and dig for anything. Highlight was Greg over in the Deli. He seemed to genuinely enjoy what he was doing and was just happy in general. Happy workers make happy customers yo!

This Safeway has self checkout. Also, one time a stock boy went way out of his way to try to find me the diet Pepsi and Mountain Dew that was on sale and I ended up getting to 24 can cases because of him. - I think there are really nice employees throughout the whole store.
