Was a loyal customer spending 5k there in the last few years. I go in and the only employee is sitting there talking to two goth chicks about becoming famous...while seeing that I am waiting finally makes an annoyed baby sound and asks me what I need. I asked him to make me an offer on a used amp...he tells me I lied to him about buying it from them etc. Gets an attitude and starts trying to tell me to leave after I told him he was wrong..basically the employees just try to act too good for everyone and that they know everything.....wont admit to mistakes or treat customers with respect.

Pretty good. A few things about this particular location though. You basically have to fight off a homeless person and 2 crack heads to even get in the door (using a little hyperbole here).  Not only that, I've had to ask about prices being correct at the register twice now (this was a couple months ago, they may have fixed this). Once because it was incorrectly high and the other time I would have basically stolen (figuratively) the item at that price. I don't want that kind of karma at a place like this. My suggestions for visiting this location: 1. Make sure to bring mace or  brush up on your MMA skills. 2. Ensure the sticker price matches what they ask you to pay at the register.

My 25 year old Yamaha guitar needed a reset tuning... the person doing the repair work was very knowledgeable... He completed the work and did an excellent job... despite her age she plays and sounds just as good as ever...

Not a bad place. Tried to find my daughter a guitar but they didn't have any that fit our tight budget for Christmas. Very clean nice store though!

We have a guitarist in the family, so we've spent quite a bit of time and money here over the years. Great selection of new and used guitars and other instruments. Nice percussion area. 
Acoustic room is humidified, which is good. I don't play, but have bought many gifts here. Super-friendly, always helpful staff - they're great at suggesting ideas for gifts when I'm not really sure what to buy. 
Our family guitarist says that they're knowledgeable from a more technical standpoint and helpful, too.
