Spacious recreational area for walking, fishing, boating, etc. Plenty of sheltered tables for picnics. Large playground near picnic areas. West side of lake features a walking trail that leads to a small island connected by bridge. Good, quiet place to relax or study. Always clean and free of litter.

Love camping here. Quiet and peaceful. Wish they had city water at all RV sites. Would be nice to have free WiFi too. It is difficult to get an RV spot here. You have to actually go to site to see if any available. No online registration. First come- first serve.

Nice 3.25 mile loop walk. Has a cross-country trail. Well maintained. Nearby campground.

A beatiful recreation area that has more than meets the eye. The paved trail have mile markers so you can see how far you have gone. There are also hiking, horse, and bike trails that may not be so obvious. There is a great off lease area for dogs on the Northwest part of the lake. I find it best as a training area. It isn't intended to be a dog park. it is kept natural so dont expect it to be kept up in the same way as a grassy park. I have a lot of great memories here with my dogs. This has always been a pack in / pack out facility. I am happy to see that trash cans have been added recently along the trail. That is a welcome addition.

Dont camp there if you have dogs of a breed like pit bulls the owner of the establishment seems he is breed racist i have have 3 pittys and he was trying to find any and all excuses to not let us camp there not a good place for camping 😒
