I think it's a great place to going camping and walking around looking at nature in it's fullness.

Nice park and easy to find. Sites were spaced far enough apart for privacy side to side. Big rigs might have hard time navigating into a spot. We have a 31’ Fifth wheel w/ a 2500 Silverado and the trees were a bit of a challenge. $17 for Full hook up is a great deal. Only downside was the literally thousands of walnuts falling all day and night on our rig. Most were soft but sometimes a bunch would fall down making a very loud bang on top.

Awesome spot for fishing and camping. There is also bird watching areas, there are horse back riding trails . It's just an all around good spot. Close to town but out far enough you don't have to listen to the traffic , sirens and so forth.
