They have a change machine they will break a 10 or a 20 dollar bill. The machine gives you back 5 dollar bills. The friendliest most polite people traveling thru there. Walnut Creek is awesome. The facility's always clean as well.

Best way to get from the BART to downtown. Use the cable car bus #4 from County Connection

Elevated station, the ride to and from SF is fast and easy and the views of Mt Diablo are great! Maybe the homeless everybody talk about took a day off or maybe because it was cold they were not around.

Crowded. Passengers are rude and impaitent. Lots of construction all around the station. Bad traffic flow. Limited wheelchair access points. At least this station has two decks.

Where to start? I am a tourist and wanted to hop on a tram to SF. The traffic is tough and it seems like Bart would be easier. First I arrive at the station and see a homeless man in an Oakland A's shirt sleeping next to the entrance with a few whiskey bottles. I give him some money and then head to the ticketing counter. By now, the man from before is awake, but he approaches me with a whiskey bottle. He throws it, but it misses me by a mile and smashes into the ground. The man got angry and tried to punch me, but whiffed. The man at the counter had called Bart security during the incident. The security arrived and took the homeless man away. I then purchased my tickets into SF and was already running late. When I got on the train, it was filled and I was forced to sit next to another homeless man. He pulled down his pants and defecated on the floor of the train just minutes after leaving the station. He then yelled out "I am America!" and threw up.
