A very dear friend passed recently, and amid the heartache and grief, his sister and I went to Weed Corley Fish. Both parents of my friend had had their memorial services there in years past. We were treated with the utmost respect by everyone there with whom we came into contact. Our Funeral Director, Linda, was very patient, caring and helpful. Cynthia is so pleasant to reach on the phone and Richard was a big help as well. The arrangements were made and carried out without any issue. Linda even helped us contact a family cemetary in east Texas to help us coordinate inurnment. Everyone there on the day of the service was respectful and helpful. They may have changed hands or been bought by SCI, but the people there are the same and just as caring and helpful as they were in the past. It made a very difficult life issue much easier with which to deal. I highly recommend their services.

Unfortunately we had te funeral service to my grandfather this weekend. As I learned the time an place I went to their website and ordered a flower arrangement worth 134 dollars, to be deliver Saturday. Everything was fine, I talked to the guy who first opens the door and he said he'll pass the message. I was fine as long as it got delivered at least by Sunday during the service. Sunday came and I asked about the flowers again. This time the second guy there, instead of offering help was distespectful and sarcastic. I made it clear it wasn't appreciated and walked out. Later on he came to get info from me to "pass it on to perdón in charge" and finished saying she will call me 1st thing in the morning... I can tell he didn't because I called in late and the lady had no idea. They excuse themselves saying that the flower shop was different from the funerary but I believe that it is not the customers responsibility to know how they drive their business. Flowers were finally delivered to the widow today and I yet need to check if the arrangement looks like it was supposed to. Overall I don't think anyone should be dealing with this in the middle of such tragedy. Will never bring my business to them or recommend their services.

My mother was very ill in December and January of this year. It was one of the most difficult time periods in my life. I contacted Weed-Corley-Fish and words can't express the immediate concern and attention I received. When she passed, it was a tremendous day emotionally. Weed-Corley-Fish advised me on what to do, what would happen and were with me each step of the way through unknown territory. I never once felt uncomfortable or taken advantage of or not "heard". I felt "taken care of". Again, words can't express how professional and caring the staff was during this time. I know in my heart, that my mother felt safe on her way home. Abbe P.

When my mother died in the middle of the night I called a friend who recommended them and I am so glad he did. They were very professional, gave me options and time to make quality decisions. They also gave us lots of advice on how to deal with issues that were outside of the funeral. They even helped me get a custom urn, and did the legwork to get doctors signatures when the hospital was dragging their feet. They made a hard time as easy as it could have been.
