Loves the hiking trail! Lots of shade and a nice quiet walk. I didn't go into the water because I had my dog with me, but it looked nice from a far and the people looked like they were having a good time. $6 for a daily pass...well worth it. Take a picnic basket and make it a day of fun. I highly recommend this place to all.

Conveniently-placed bathrooms throughout the past, lots of gazebos, BBQ pits, picnic tables - a happy family place. The big attraction is the swimming hole which is a constant 72* all year because it is fed by underwater springs. Our favorite thing to do is rent kayaks and canoes and paddle downriver - the absolute most relaxing experience. Only saw 2 small alligators but lots of beautiful water birds. If you arrive after 3:00 p.m. the cost to rent a canoe for 2 hours is only $14.00. This is old Florida and very worth experiencing.

Very nice state park nicely taken care of we really like it. Peaceful quiet park rangers could have not been any nicer. We saw deer squirrels Raccoons Turkeys and my wife saw a bear from a distance. They do have gators in the spring or so we were told. Bathrooms are clean and well taken care of. Your 10 mins from any store you need but once your in the park you feel secluded.

Very beautiful. There is a small fee for parking. There is canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding along with swimming. It's so beautiful and you are able to see wild life up close. If you are afraid of gators then this isn't the place for you. They have signs that caution people about the gators and other wild life there. Basically your going at your own risk. We did see gators on the kayak trip but as long as you don't startle them, they stay on the edges.

Loved our time here. The Springs were gorgeous, staff very friendly, the bathrooms in good condition. My kids also enjoyed the little nature area too. The cafe was closed due to renovations but we had already brought a cooler with sandwiches and beverages. Definitely will come back!
