worse bank is wells Fargo- period. I tried to cash a check for 1200 from my work. I have been cashing this check for 20 years , but today, I'm pretty sure because of my appearance- they refused without being able contacting my boss. he was unavailable so i got treated like a thug here. very disappointing. I had all proper identification and a receipt from last f riday from this very bank for a lesser amount and they cashed it with no problem. ELIZEBETH CANALES, NMLSR ID:1218772. is who I asked to speak with I. reference to my situation. I asked her if she would wave the $7.50 charge on cashing my check as a result of me waiting 35 minutes for them to contact my boss. she told me " it's our policy to always charge that amount for a non members" . I then asked her the direct question " there is no way a check of any amount, like $400. can be cashed without the $7.50 charge?" she told me "absolutely not " I then produced a receipt for $400 - transaction # 045 0049, 11:35AM, 12/02/17. that was from the same account as the aforementioned and I WAS NOT CHARGED. I simply asked her to explain that, her response was "do you want to cash this check here or go to another bank ". i asked her again why the policy did not exist last week. she became very angry and told me that she could not wave the fee. I then told her that it would be a kind gesture to me for having to wait so long and that I would change my review I am going to leave for this bank, she said there will be a charge. ELIZEBETH CANALES is a monument to poor management and customer service. she was given an opportunity to avoid a bad review for wells Fargo and decided that Wells Fargo would rather have this review. this is a substantive review. I will leave 8 more reviews within wells Fargo banking services and make several calls. I hope no one else gets this bad service. FOLLOW UP: I am pleased with Wells Fargo customer service, they actually responded to my multiple emails in reference to CANALES horrible customer service. a case has been opened. I don't know where it will go, but I am pleased at their response so far. I hope that there is no pattern to her poor leadership.

The 2 tellers at the window would rather chat with their 1 friend for several minutes instead of helping me deposit my check.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. Business banker is very pleasant to work with she is personable and knowledgeable. Professional yet personable sums it up.

Worst experience!! Gabriella is not competent at all plus she is rude and doesn't recognize when she is wrong does not know how to do her job, which is money counting, I had to do the math in my cell phone's calculator for her. She tries to outsmart customers when sadly she really needs to go back to school. I just feel sad for her. Sad because she is not even able to perform her duties.

Wells Fargo Bank representatives are very friendly. Never had any problems banking with Wells Fargo Bank.
