Story

You never need an appointment to receive Florida Hospital Centra Care’s Family Medicine Services at our over 30 urgent care centers across Orlando, Tampa Bay, and now Volusia & Flagler Counties. Centra Care is open 7 days-a-week with some centers open until midnight and after hours. Centra Care’s Board-Certified adult and pediatric-trained physicians offer on-site medical care of minor illness and injury for adults and children. Walk-ins are always welcome at all of our clinics throughout Florida.

Centra Care is the affordable alternative to the emergency room for urgent, non life-threatening medical care. So whether you have a sore throat, upset stomach, allergies, or if you need sports physicals or labwork, our family medicine doctors will provide you and your family with quality health and medical care. Most medications can be obtained from our medication dispensary, eliminating the need for you to find a pharmacy. For visitors to Orlando, our free transportation service can take you to our closest facility from most area attractions (Walt Disney World Resort & Universal Orlando Resort), resorts, and hotels.

Its close to $200 to be seen. I waited a bit. But that's to be expected. The receptionist was very pleasant. The nurse and doctor were very nice..I felt like they cared! That was a nice feeling. Overall-a very great experience. Thank you!

Great care. I was seen in a timely manner and everyone was professional and kind. Dr. Uzo was very compassionate and thorough. Took care of all my needs.

Very friendly staff. Felt like they were genuine about concern and care. Got my husband in very quickly and started treatment as fast as possible. Hoping not to make a habit out of Urgent Care visits but would absolutely come back if we had to visit one.

It's an urgent care center so it's not like I am expecting 100% excellent care. I understand it's for emergency and the doctor doesn't know your history. But a 2 hour wait?! That's why you go to urgent care to get in and out. After waiting 2 hours the doctor spent 4 minutes with me. Then I had to wait 15 minutes for the nurse to come in with the prescriptions. I was so sick and there was no compassion. The staff just says "I know it's long and not sure how much longer, we are just so crazy busy today with odd situations". There were only 2 other people there. I don't know what they were talking about. What really got me frustrated and why I am writing this review is while I was waiting in the room the staff was laughing and joking around and I heard the doctor playing around too. I just think they should be more compassionate and considerate to people who are waiting and really not feeling well. I have to say I was greatly disappointed because I hear these great advertising about the excellent and speedy service.

I went in on a Sunday after stepping on a rusty nail since a lot log places are closed on Sunday. Staff was very nice especially the lady at the front desk. Will return if I need services again. Thank you
