My mom has had perfect teeth all her life, going to the dentist faithfully every year for a check up and cleaning. However, since she started going to West Richland Family Dental, they somehow convinced her that she needed to have her teeth cleaned every 6 months, rather than the standard once yearly under normal circumstances. At $147 each visit, (no insurance, senior, on limited income) I feel she is being taken advantage of and ripped off. I too, am a senior, with no insurance, limited income, and my dentist recommends cleaning once a year (her teeth are stronger, and she brushes and flosses religiously, unlike me!) and charges just $75. When asked, my dentist said the only time it might be necessary for more than one cleaning per year, is if the teeth had never been professionally cleaned before; then it might be necessary to monitor their condition a couple of times for the first year or two to gage plaque build-up between visits.

Very friendly and personable staff, as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted and helped by a member of the team. Dentist and his team were very informative and very gentle with my teeth/gums. Will definitely be going back.

I was relieved to have such a professional and non-judgmental experience. Everyone, from reception to checkout was wonderful. I immediately told my oldest daughter to got to WRFD as they were fantastic. I will tell everyone I know to go to you!
