I visited here a few times before finally deciding to purchase a rabbit from them. It's pretty large for an independent pet shop. They have a TON of fish, birds, small animals, and a few puppies every now and then. There are lots of supplies but they're overpriced, in my opinion.

I purchased a mini lop rabbit from them and they didn't give me any type of info or a quick lesson on owning a rabbit....... Not that I needed it, but I've had rabbits before and they've always done that when purchasing. I guess they just assumed that I knew what I was getting into.

Anyway, it's about 2 months later and my rabbit is very healthy and doing great. He's very lively and gets along well with my Maltese dog! I can definitely vouch for them having nice, healthy rabbits! :) I do hate that they close super early every single day. If you work a regular 9-5, you'll probably never get there in time before closing! :(

Update: It is now over a year later and my rabbit is still healthy and doing well. I adore him and am very happy with my purchase. This pet store has definitely gone downhill,  though. They rarely have rabbits anymore. The mini piggies always look miserable. The guinea pigs are mishandled. Poor things.

This place has a large number and variety of pets.  I give it three stars because when I asked how big the mini pig would get I was told they would stay around 40lbs if you control how much they eat.  Otherwise they'll get upwards of 80lbs. The only way to keep an animal at HALF it's adult weight by diet control is starving them. They get three stars because the animals were healthy and in good shape but they lose stars by recommending starving the animal to keep it small.

The owner here is beyond awesome! We stopped by today and even though they were closed due to hurricane he opened up the door and allowed us to shop. Friends left with the cutest mini pig and my daughter got a new fish! Thanks Wet Pets so nice when you get awesome service from a small business.

Went to check out the puppies we saw posted on the sign. We walked in and were the only customers, yet the two staff members on Sunday didn’t even acknowledge our presence. The place smelled terrible (i know it’s a pet store but it was far worse than any other pet store I’ve been to). The ridiculously priced puppy mill puppies were behind a locked counter so we couldn’t play with them without asking. The two ladies were busy talking about why the new shipment of bunnies were sick. At that point we just wanted to get out of there.
