Staff is great. The credit card machine at the bar has been broken since the Reagan administration so you need cash to tip the wonderful alcohol-workers who are pathetically grateful. They give you exotic samples. The buffet is wonderful once you understand its vegan recruitment purpose. The vegetables are magnificent; one meat dish is usually off but it's operant conditioning rather than incompetence. Today the lamb stew absolutely sealed my resolve to never taste meat again - gristle-in-gravy. My favourite place in Chicago, including all Churches.

Great whole foods that's popilar with the college students nearby. The selection isn't as large as some other whole foods (there are times when they run out of vegan friendly foods like tofu), and there's no place to eat prepared food inside the store. But otherwise it's a great location  and friendly checkout service. The building can be reached via public transport (bus and train), and there's also parking.

Came in with no plan & left with my new fav cheese Italian Truffle. Strongly recommend using it over crackers, imo works best with a fruity red wine too, but whatev works for u will be best. Also, imo the French Chocolate Swirl Broche is the best item in the place.

My neighborhood whole foods. Small and cute but lacks  alot of stuff. Always out of stuff too especially since Amazon took charge.
