They write their own ordinances but don’t follow them. This is a shining example of why we don’t actually need government in our lives. Be weary moving into willow springs because dealing with the local government is a racket. The employees are small minded, rude and lack basic logic and have zero understanding of law. They impose things that are simply not in their ordinances and cannot provide said ordinances even when I’ve submitted freedom of information acts. Again don’t move to willow springs! We have been residents since 1975 and the village has been deep in corruption since we moved in.
