I used to like this museum before they renovated it. It's just a big jumble now. It's like a oversized room with over large displays. Gone are the Egyptian room. The furniture and the dresses. The live animal room is gone. There are way too many television displays. There isn't much to say. I just want to walk out as soon as I get in. I wouldn't really recommend it.

Love the new design. It's so much more modern. The entrance is stunning. The exhibits displaying the wildlife of Texas is beautiful. The floor right above shows life in Texas as lived by the natives. The special exhibits are a bit pricy but so informative and fun. The museum itself is gorgeous and worth a trip.

The old Witte wasn't worth the trip, but after the major overhaul they did on it...it's AMAZING! Kids and adults both have a great time. Lots of stuff to see and read about, and plenty of hands-on activities for the kids. We bought a membership so the kids can enjoy it over and over

This place has improved since I last was there. I had a great time and I loved all the different educational and historical areas that were available. I did do the membership since I know I'll be back.

First time to The Taste of the Heights on 9/28/2017. It is benefiting to Witte Museum and SA Life Academy. The newly renovated exhibition halls, 26 restaurants’ samples in the area, Wine, and live music.... it was a great experience.
