Woodard's is a very professional ,well kept clean shop. Once you go there they treat you like family starting with the secertary, she makes you feel welcome and right at home ensuring that she gets you exactly what you need! Woodards by far is the best auto shop in Florence, SC!

My service with them was terrible. I called and got an appointment for Monday 1/30/17. I was told it would cost a $100 to diagnose the problem. I explain that I knew what the problem was, I had a timing chain replaced and it was off and it needed an adjustment. I went there on 1/30/17 at 9am and gave the receptionist all the information about what it was doing, what things I had done on the car concerning the issue, and what the computer was reading out and she wrote it down.  The receptionist called me back around 2pm and she said that the issue was the timing chain. I was like duh, I know that... I told you that. So, I asked how much will it cost to correct the problem and this lady said oh I didn't know you wanted us to fix it. I'm like that is what I brought it there for. She said let me ask the mechanic and I will call you back. An hour and 25 minutes later she said the mechanic said you need a new engine since you replace the timing chain, head gaskets and valves and it didn't work.  I asked did they take it apart?  She said no and I said well how do they know I need a new engine. Of course it is giving the readings I told you because the timing chain is not aligned correctly. When I got there they still charged me a $100 for something that I told them and they only put it on the computer to give me the same reading I already knew about. When I crank my SUV it sounded horrible and it didn't sound like that when I took it there. I went back inside with my husband and they claimed they didn't take anything apart and it sound like that when they cranked it but not as bad. I will never ever ever give them my business or refer them to anyone not even my enemy. It was a waste of time and a rip off. They could have told me that they do not work on a timing chain that has been placed by another mechanic when I called thus saving me a $100.

I worked with Woodard's over the phone to get a vehicle inspected since I live out of state. They were polite, professional, quick and very reasonable.

Took my truck there a few months ago to get checked out. They told me that what was causing it to stumble sometimes at idle was the spark plugs so I told them to go ahead and replace them. Not only did it still have the same issue afterwards but when they changed my spark plugs they pulled the spark plug threads out of my cylinder head from them cross threading it and didn't tell me about it because they managed to get the spark plugs to stay in long enough to get me out of there. Well I'm now stuck buying a $1,600 cylinder head plus $960 in labor because of their screw up! Never take your vehicle here because you WILL regret it! The people may seem to be nice but they are con-artists!
