Where do I start. Worst experience ever!. Worst Customer service experience from a freight company where half of their business is customer service. YRC needs to hire professional consultants to teach the staff on basic customer service. When I complained to the managers, I was told this is a UNION shop. How does a union shop not perform, what kind of attitude the managers have against their union employees? As a customer why do I care if this is a Union shop or not. I need service, forget above and beyond kind of services, just needs basic attention. You would be lucky if someone will look at you and try to help you at this facility. Forget about call the 800 #, same morons work their. My opinion, YRC should shut down this facility.

I have to echo Alyssa’s review. I have run into the EXACT same problem with this company.  Why can’t they deliver on time??? Well, I asked and here was the reason: "Everyone wants to use YRC for their shipment needs so the Pittsburgh terminal is so very very behind that we can’t keep up with deliveries".  Great for YRC, bad for us small business owners that lose customers over missed delivery dates. If you are required to use YRC, I would highly recommend you have an extra week budgeted in your schedule for your order to sit at the terminal.

As a small business, we need to have confidence that our suppliers can get raw material to our production studio reliably, so that we can then fill orders.  We have never had a positive experience with YRC. They never arrive when "scheduled " , they only occasionally call ahead to let you know they're coming, and if you have a problem the terminal manager's voicemail is (in)conveniently full. This time we paid our vendor extra for "guaranteed " delivery today and it seems our pallet never even left the terminal today. Guaranteed to disappoint!

Delivery was late and customer service was not helpful at all.
