Great food and awesome service! The house fried rice was really good! I'm giving a 4 star as the bathroom was not clean.
Great authentic food! You can choose the spice levels and the food was so tasty. Great customer service as well!
Authentic, fresh, and delicious Chinese food. The string beans were the standout favorite. We also had the eggplant, tofu skin, home style tofu, egg and tomato, and er kuai - all were excellent. I lived in Yunnan for several years and found this restaurant because they have er kuai - one of my favorite regional specialties. Er kuai isn’t listed on the menu, but I’d seen in another review they will make it. They use the Korean style rice cakes you can get at the Asian supermarket, but it was prepared very similarly to how I’ve had it in Southwest China stir fried with sour vegetables and egg. I definitely recommend ordering this savory rice cake dish when you visit As for the negative reviews - my guess is they aren’t used to authentic Chinese food.
The taste is terrible from a Chinese perspective. The service equals to nothing. Never come back again. It is popular because people are too hungry to wait seats from Chengdu Taste. It does not mean the restaurant is good. Try everything to avoid it.
per my Yunnan friend, their hot food including Guoqiao noodle are not very authentic and flavor is a bit too light. You have to try their cold dish platter which was the best among all.Food: 3/5
We were pretty excited about finding this place again as we had been here before years ago. Sadly this place is now rather disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, the food tasted good still and is pretty authentic. However, our biggest gripes are the the subpar service from the disinterested staff, pretty small food portions and overall overpriced for what we received. Unless they change and go back to how they were before, we probably never visit again.
The cold dish combination is excellent and tasty and inexpensive. The spicy dumplings is average. The table is clean. The service is average. More smile will help a lot! For less than 20 dollars bill they demand cash. Will I come back again? Yes. The location is hard to find but with lot of parking space.
Whenever I go to a new Chinese restaurant, I try the Ma Po tofu. The spice level was good but there wasn't much ground pork. The wonton soup was very very salty but the wontons themselves were good. I took my Aunt for lunch and she really enjoyed the fried rice. Overall it was good
Wow! I’m very pleased with this restaurant. They have great food with great value. The service is great too. We came in and had some Kung Pao Chicken XXXtra spicy, fried rice and some drinks. We had a few other plates and really enjoyed everything.
Everything was super oily. Definitely not recommend. Even the soup was oily. Waist of money!!! And do not order lamb, it has a wired smell that will ruin your appetite.
