Haven’t been to Taiwan since early 2020 due to the pandemic so when my husband and I were in Vegas we had to give it a shot. We ordered as many of our favorite dishes that we thought we could handle but inevitably had some leftovers. My only complaint is that I live on the other side of the country and we can’t visit just anytime. Back to the restaurant! We arrived to the savory, rich smells of five spice and traditional Taiwanese food and a clean table. Everything came out fast, hot, and delicious. We ordered a scallion pancake, youtiao with soy milk, Taiwanese sausage rice with egg, and beef noodle. I truly wish we had room for more food. The beef in the beef noodle was so tender and packed with flavor. The sausage rice had a minced meat on top which was all delicious too. This place may be nestled back in the corner of the strip mall but it is well worth stopping in. The prices are unbeatable too. Friendly staff. My husband speaks Mandarin and was able to communicate that way with them. This place will be a staple on our future visits to the area.
If you care the quality of service and waiting, don’t come here. But if you can bear that for the authenticity of Taiwan style brunch, you should come here. Highly recommend . Remember to bring some cash as using card will result in 4% of fees. Also, come early may avoid the waiting. The waiting time is about 20 min.Recommended dishesOyster Omelette, Salted Soy Milk
There’s many things on the menu but this visit we chose simple items for a light breakfast. Food was delicious and the waiter and staff was very nice and helpful. We had a pleasant experience here and would recommend it. Restaurant is clean inside and bathrooms are very welcoming.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Came here after a quick Google search of what restaurants were rated pretty well. Decided to come to Taiwan Deli because the food photos looked pretty good and reviews were decent. Upon entering, it looks very homey and family run. The tablecloths make it look like an Italian restaurant, which added to the family feel. The menu is both in English and Chinese, and can look intimidating, but I would definitely recommend going off of people's reviews. Overall a pretty good meal everything we had was decent, except our XLB had no soup? It's a very authentic spot and I'd probably come back to try other items.
Highly recommended if you are looking for traditional Chinese food. I’m from Toronto, I cannot find restaurants have better taste than here. Also, The owner is super friendly. I’ll 100% return if I visit Vegas again.
What a gem. We travelled from London to Vegas for a weekend and had breakfast here twice. It is THAT good. Authentic Taiwanese eats with Taiwanese TV playing in the background and amazing value for money. A nostalgic taste of home.
I do understand why so many people recommend this restaurant. It was cozy, needing a seat with another person at a Table. The meals were nothing about delicious, especially beef rolls and the YiMei Rice rolls. No one can compare what I was before in another Tanwainess place. The Minced pork price is reasonable.
Very authentic flavoring. Briskets from noodle soup was perfectly cooked - very tender with hints of spice. Stinky tofu was stinky should be. Owner is very humble and friendly. Will definitely come back.
It’s a family owned restaurant and be ready that it could take you up 30 mins to get your food ordered. Pretty authentic Taiwanese food but personally don’t think it’s worth if you had to queue for an hour to get in and another 30 mins to order your food. Anyway, we recommend eating the braised pork rice, Champion Rice Roll and the soy milk. Beef noodles was nah, not recommended. $56 for three person before tips.
My family and I loved our breakfast here! We got the fried donut, salty soy milk, fantuan glutinous rice roll, and egg pancake. Everything was delicious and came out quickly with a very reasonable price. We agreed their salty soy milk and fried donut were even better than more expensive places in Los Angeles. The place has a nice family, homey feel. We highly recommend this place!!
