Story

Welcome to our Wigwam club in Henderson, NV. At our health and fitness center, we believe in changing lives through fitness. Our state-of-the-art facility has just about every feature you could wish for in a gym membership. Our club offers a wide range of group exercise classes, personal training and a wealth of other benefits and features. Whether you plan to lose weight, tone-up, or train for a big event, our club offers a wide variety of gym memberships which you can buy online or in-club.

When I first started at this location, it was pretty nice. More crowded than the location near Lake Mead and Boulder Highway that closed down, but still convenient, and lots more equipment. I stopped going to the gym for a while due to work and family stuff, and the first time I went back I was shocked at the change. Needless to say, if this was my first time to this location, I would’ve turned around and left and not come back, cancelling my membership in the process. The staff is okay as long as there aren’t any problems for them to have to deal with. The music is really loud so it’s hard to concentrate (and especially when lifting weights it’s important to concentrate). It’s hard to get equipment. It’s not the cleanest gym I’ve seen either. The parking lot is just plain dangerous – people speed and drive in and out of the lanes with absolutely no regard to oncoming traffic. I’ve almost been run over a handful of times, and _every_ time I go someone almost hits my car because they think they’re a bloody stunt driver. When it comes to training agreements, be very careful. I had signed up for on-going training so I wouldn’t have to go through the process of signing up for a new block of sessions on a regular basis. It was convenient, if pricey. I bought a house and needed to cancel so I could put the money towards winding up the purchase. Apparently, my request to cancel didn’t make it into the system in time and I was charged for another set of sessions. That was in November 2017; I called, spoke with a few different people, and I was told they would look into it and call me back later that day or the next day. I never heard anything after a month. I tried calling and couldn’t get anywhere. Now in 2018, I went in person and made a bit of a fuss and I was told the manager would contact me. He called me back (on the wrong phone number) and left a message, so now I’m stuck trying to get a hold of him. The problem is, whenever you call, the manager is never available, and one of the supposed higher-ups, Jessica, is very quick to pass me off to anyone else. The person who is “supposed” to be taking care of this hasn’t. Bottom line: If you drive a small tank, you'll be safe in the parking lot. If all you go there for is cardio, you’ll probably be okay. If you’re there to lift, prepared to improvise a lot. And again, above all, do NOT dig yourself into a hole with auto-debit! Update: Keith called to say the refund was on its way... That was more than two weeks ago, and still no refund.

They closed the gym closest to me so I put my wife and my account on an indefinite hold. They re-activated the account without telling us. Just started taking money from the bank at the beginning of the year. I called and asked them to re freeze the account and refund the money and they refused so I cancelled the membership. They then charged me for my "last month." I hope they enjoy that money cause they will never get another dime out of me. Update: Got a call from member services after sending them my contract info. Jessica was very understanding of my situation and helpful in resolving my concerns to my satisfaction. Update 2: Just keeps getting better with 24 Hour Fitness. One month after Jessica refunded my money I have now been charged again, only this time it was double. Apparently they weren't happy that I wanted my money back and tried to take more of it. I have dated receipts of the cancellations and refunds. Addiel in member services was extremely unwilling to understand the situation and only focused on making sure they get more money. If you make the mistake of signing up with this gym, don't try to quit and cancel your account. You will be fit or you will run out of money!!!

Great 24 hour gym. Staff are truly awesome people. It gets crowded at times, especially from 4pm till 7 pm. Not the largest 24h Fitness in town but has all the equipment I need.

Never too full. Motivated gym goers of all ages, but not strutting. Good classes with supportive teachers and students

Good in terms of crowd in early after work hours. Very dirty shower, locker pool area. They have closed their pool/sauna area for renovation. Hopefully they will fix everything properly. I used to be able to use spin bikes on my own but now that room is locked and u can only access if u join the classes which don't match my schedule
