I got a flat tire when I was driving home from work last night and happened to be right in front of 44 Auto Mall. I just pulled into the parking lot to wait for AAA, but Paul was in the parking lot and offered to change the tire for me. He quickly removed my tire and put the spare on so that I wouldn't have to wait in the cold. And he wouldn't take any money! I really appreciate how great he was. Thank you so much!! I would definitely give them my business in the future!

Great service, and selection - Paul and Joe are the best. Love my new truck, got a fair trade in value and they gave us a ton of options to choose from. If you're in the market for a quality used car, 44 Auto Mall comes highly recommended.

I feel like this is the typical used car lot. My entire experience was very monotonous. I purchased here only because they had the vehicle with the features my wife wanted. Be granular when you overlook of the vehicle! The 2013 GMC Terrain I bought had an awful noise coming from the front brakes when i test drove it that I informed the dealer about as well as an open recall on the vehicle. I was assured the brake noise was fixed when i picked it up. It was not and i was told "our mechanic is not affiliated with us". If you're putting cars on your lot they worked on, they are. Period. I had to bring the car back again for it to be fixed properly. I also requested ONE form to be faxed to my insurance agent to get the vehicle registered and I was told that my wife had enough info for my insurance agent and they were too busy to fax the document. The result was a discrepancy in the initial mileage on the insurance binder as well as the incorrect name on the policy as the policy holder. This would have not been an issue had one simple form been faxed. I was told by the dealer that I should have known what name the policy needed to be in. "it's common sense" they said. After finally getting that situated, my wife goes to get the vehicle inspected and it fails for the front tires. The dealer said it passed in RI so it should pass in MA and CT (I am in MA) and that my inspector may have just been picky. Don't buy here if you're out of state.They tell me to once again bring the vehicle back and they'll have their guy look at it and if he says it would have passed in RI they won't put new tires on it but if he says it wouldn't they would. Their inspector said one of the front tires was borderline so the dealer offered to either A) replace that one tire or B) they would buy two if i bought two and i would have all 4 new tires. B seems better right? Not really. They offer to obviously split the cost but what used car dealerships don't tell you is the estimated cost given to the customer (for shops with wholesale accounts with town fair tire specifically but with most other tire shops as well) differs from what the dealer will be billed. So if you split the estimated cost thinking you're paying 50%, when the dealer is billed the wholesale cost you actually end up paying closer to 80%. You could consider it a solution I suppose but not a customer friendly one, in my opinion. There was no empathy or personality at this shop. My wife was even told by one of the dealer owners that I am difficult to deal with so be prepared to be labeled and told it is your fault if you are expecting a pleasant transaction and you complain because things are incorrect and not attended to. If they do not have the exact car you are looking for at the lowest price around, I suggest going elsewhere. Mistakes happen, but you can't blame the customer for your business' shortcomings. I don't complain if things go wrong as long as the experience fixing them is pleasant. Look for that in reviews of used car dealers before you buy!
