Prices have been steadily increasing for a while now, but it's not outrageous. It's more comfortable than most other bus companies and more reliable. Beats Greyhound any day. I do wish they'd let people travel with a bicycle, though. I'd pay more for that option.

The bus is far better than I expected. The price is much cheaper than renting a car or plane. Whether it is delayed or not depends on the traffic, but you cannot control it. You have the same traffic issue even you drive alone.

Today’s experience was absolutely terrible 1.5 hrs delay because of driver change. Such an unorganized company. It is 4.15 Houston to 8.15 Dallas Trip Time is 9.07 and we still have another 45 mins to go. I paid $55 for this ticket and they promised a bus with power outlet , good luck getting that , single deck bus have a wireless that you can connect however cant use because it is as slower than 2G connection and little faster than 56k modem It is cold outside colder inside the bus , driver hates it is passengers my right side of the seat blowing 65 and it is about to freeze my right arm , leg , possibly internally kidneys soon Single deck bus and I can feel the every single bump on the road. It hurts your bum and back so uncomfortable. Just to let you know , this company does not apologize or have a refund policy. Also I wonder why they charge you a bus ticket but don’t reserve you a seat so you know where you sitting at the time of booking , is it only because to make more money off of people ? If you want to reserve a seat pay more ?

This review is actually -5 stars. I paid almost $60 for my Megabus ticket on the 11:30 am bus from downtown Houston to Austin on Sunday March 18, 2018. Based upon the specifics on the Megabus website throughout my booking process, I was given the impression that I was purchasing a ticket on a double-decker with wifi and sockets to plug in device-chargers. This bus that Megabus put me on is the complete opposite of what I paid for. It is not a double-decker, there is no wifi. In other words, they charged me Megabus prices and put me on a Greyhound bus. If I had known ahead of time that they would not be providing the service I was paying for, I would have taken the Greyhound for a cheaper fare. This is a terribly unhappy first-time Megabus customer. Needless to say, I will not make the same mistake again by purchasing a Megabus ticket, and I will be urging others not to either. Now, we have been sitting in the bus at 1500 San Jacinto in Austin and cannot get off the bus to get our luggage and go because there is another Megabus occupying the driveway and our non-Megabus cannot unload. We have been sitting here since 3:06 pm and it is now 3:26... 3:28... Our bus driver refuses to do anything to try and help get our bus into the driveway so we can get off. He says that the Megabus personnel know we are here waiting. 3:30... 3:32... This is the worst bus service...

Affordable....simply get your butt on the bus.cheap service..cant beat it. A lot of times people are rude and will specifically put bags in a seat so you wont sit there and there is no one to enforce such policy to make sure everyone sits in a seat
