It is in a bit of a rough area of downtown. Once inside the station, I felt safe because there is good security. They load and unload passengers efficiently here and they seem more service-oriented here than at other Greyhound stations, such as collecting luggage while you are in line instead of making you take it to the side of the bus.

Guys, this place doesn't have 2 stars for nothing, and I am definitely not giving it 1 star for nothing. Greyhound is absolutely atrocious and I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my enemies. If you have to be somewhere on time you would literally get there faster if you walked. My bus was delayed three hours. Not one. Not Two. BUT THREE HOURS. Just do yourself the favor of going to mega bus. I haven't gone through them myself, but I really think anything would be better than greyhound.

Never again will I ride Greyhound! My bus heading to my hometown was 3 hours late! The staff are very rude and don't care about the customers! Also returning to Houston the bus driver wouldn't let me put my bag in the overhead! She said I had too much stuff! I only had 2 bags.....my luggage bag and backpack and my luggage bag is small so is my backpack! The first bus I didn't have to have it checked! And I saw plenty of other people on the bus with more than 1 bag!

Little hood. But they get the job done. Security guy with the bad eye. Is great. He looks out for everyone. He needs a raise.

The bus station it self is clean and the staff are helpful and generally kind. There is a 24 hr cafe there which is much better than the usual vending machines found at other stations. The burgers and fries are amazing (5 stars for greyhound bus cafe) The area surrounding the station however does not appear to be the safest.
