This small tack shop is conveniently located on the frontage road if I94 in Racine county.  It offers a surprisingly wide array of quality goods for both English and Western riders from horsey gifts to apparel to new and used tack.  The shop is well organized and neat.  
The staffing is minimal but knowledgeable when "Chris" is there.  If they don't have it they can order it for you.  Prices are what you would expect from a small shop.  There is a fair return policy and Chris doesn't quit until the customer is satisfied.  It offers a convenient place to go when you "need it now" and don't want to wait for something to be shipped.

If Christine is there she is very helpful and it's a great little place to pick something up quick. However if Christine is not there don't waste your time even stopping in. The others that work there are not very helpful and always tell you to wait until Christine is back anyways. I needed to purchase a new turn out blanket as my horse ripped hers, I called to make sure they had the correct size and was told "wait until tomorrow when Christine is here". He wouldnt just go look to see if they had the size. I told him I need it and would go elsewhere and he just said ok.... way to lose business!

I recently moved to the area with my horses and was delighted to find a 'local' tack shop. I purchased a few small items for my barn on my first visit and asked the gentleman working about a horse trailer they had for sale, he couldn't answer any questions because " it wasn't his department" when I asked who could help me he just handed me a card and said "call her" on my second visit I asked the same man a few questions about feed and got the exact same response. I also purchased 2 turn-out sheets, I stressed that they needed to be waterproof, one of the sheets did not say that it was waterproof- it simply stated "ideal for spring and fall conditions" and the man said " oh yes, this sheet is waterproof" I was skeptical but I purchased it. A couple of weeks have passed and its now getting rainy so this morning I pulled the sheet out of its bag and upon inspection decided it was probably not watrproof - I called the manufacturer who confirmed this. I looked for the receipt but was unable to find it - since all I wanted was to exchange the sheet and pay the difference I didn't think it was a big deal. WRONG, even tho the sheet still had their tags on it and the man remembered selling me the sheet ( that he insisted was waterproof but wasn't) he would do NOTHING for me without a receipt.  End of story. So in my opinion the customer service is lacking severely, the knowledge isn't there and they've lost thousands of dollars of my business over a $50 sheet as I will never shop there again and will warn every equestrian I know to be wary of the 'convenient' little shop on frontage road with the terrible service.
