I recently moved to the area and was on the hunt for a great hairstylist. I came across A1 after researchig top salons in Cary. After having a cut and highlights done at A1, i must say i am not disappointed. Jamal is the owner and main stylist at this salon, he is absolutely amazing. He loves what he does and it shows in the results. His services are top notch! He is so friendly and explains each step so you know and understand what is happening. A bonus, he offers tea and fresh European treats while you are waiting. I've definitely found my salon in Cary.

Jamal is great.  After my first visit I didn't even need to remind him on my  preferred style.  He also has some fantastic treats to offer and a Turkish tea that I sometimes crave.  Tried other places around DT Cary, and wasn't satisfied.  A1 is the place.

Jamal has cut my hair for over three years now. Also does my wife's hair. He's a great guy and extremely talented. My wife has never stayed with a stylist more than a year or so, don't believe she'll ever change, neither will I!

Jamal does a great job styling my hair.  I frequently receive compliments on it, and it's so easy to maintain!  If he offers you a cup of tea, be sure to say yes, it's a real treat.

A1 is A1! They deliver great men’s cuts. I am allergic to most colors, but they found the perfect allergic free color. Great service and great cut. Thank you, A-1.
