I went in for a cut and color. A young stylist checked me in and told me someone would be with me shortly. The manager was working on another client. After a few minutes she asked what the girl who checked me in had said. When I told her she rolled her eyes. She went to the back and said something to the young girl. Meanwhile someone else came in who wanted a cut. Another stylist finished a client and took the other customer ahead of me. I didn't think a lot about it as it had not been a long wait. Next thing I saw was the young stylist leave. This is not long after the shop opened for the day and it struck me as odd. Then the manager came and took me to her chair. She said I'm so sorry she should have taken you when she checked you in. I said no big deal but she thought it was. She proceeded to put color on my hair and had me go to the back while it processed. She said this will take about 20 minutes. Then she took 2 more clients while I waited. Then she went to the back for a long while and came out and she had styled her own hair and put on make up. She had been quick to point out earlier that she had had a busy morning and hadn't had time for her own hair. At this point I had been processing for over an hour. I commented that I hoped this didn't mean my hair would be overprocessed and she laughed and said no worries it deactivated after 45 minutes. No apology at all. Now I get this is a walk in establishment and I may have to wait my turn and others are worked in with me but to go off on an employee for not taking me and then do this shows me that she sets no example of what she expects from her employees. Very unimpressed and offended by this manager!

I went here to get my hair dyed a natural red. My hair was already very close to the color I wanted so I didn’t think it would be that difficult. I specified the red and showed pictures to the woman doing my hair. Right off the bat I should have said something about the color of the dye because it was bright red, but I assume that they know better than I do. After the dye was in I was asked to sit to the side and that was fine but I wasn’t told how long. No timer of anything. It was very awkward watching my stylist do somebody else’s hair without knowing how long I would be sitting there. Anyway, my roots came out near orange and the rest was red. Red, red. Not even close to natural. The woman at the front desk actually asked me if I was happy with it because she heard me specifically ask for natural red and I said I was because I didn’t know how bright it was until I left the store. 
I’ve washed my hair 3 times since then and red dye runs out but my hair isn’t getting any less red. Disappointed.

Made a walk in appointment. I watched the manager leave, took a nap and played some games on my phone. 45 minutes later, only one customer had been taken back with a good half dozen workers sweeping, moving and talking, it was time to find a new place to get my hair cut and walked out.

Hope did a great job of cutting my hair and seemed quite friendly and didn't mind that I didn't want to chit chat during the haircut due to my social anxiety. Some stylists take this personally and think I am some kind of freak or something because I don't enjoy talking much but she didn't seem to mind. I will definitely come back here for future haircuts. Been coming here since 2012 or for the past 5 1/2 years. Stylists are very understanding and do a great job. Took one star off since price is a dollar cheaper at the other Fantastic Sams in Morrisville but this one provides better service so it is worth the premium price. :)

Always had a good experience at this salon for the past 2 years until last weekend. Will never be back again due to inept staff who do not put the customer first. Take note: When You wait for 40 minutes for two of my kid’s haircuts and they choose to only do one and not the other because “they don’t have time” is totally inexcusable.
