I was visiting some family when my car started having engine problems. I stopped by to get it checked from this AAMCO location and I am so glad I did. The moment I walked in, I welcomed and helped right away. The staff at this AAMCO location took my car right in and served me. Everyone was super kind and helpful and they did such a great job taking care of my car! So grateful for the professional attitude and service I received! Especially Mrs. Shina and Mr. Keith!

My experience was exceptional here. I came to get my 2000 Lincoln Continental rear air bags inspected. I show up about an hour before closing, i open the door and I'm greeted with a smile and professionalism like it was 11am. This women who I soon became very familiar with named SHINA was great, she helped me extensively and went over and beyond what I thought was needed. The aura and vibe was very laidback and friendly, it was all do too SHINA. This  shop was upstanding and honest from the very beginning about price and the timetable of everything. Keith and I had a few conversations not pertaining to my car that suprised and intrigued me at the same time. Let me also say I didn't get the work done they only diagnosed the problem(of course for a fee). All in all I would definitely go back here if I had any issues with my car, or just to visit.

I strongly recommend going to AAMCO (Gaithersburg) for all your vehicle repairs because of their excellent customer service.  I had been a long time customer of Tires Plus, another local repair shop.  In August 2017, I took my vehicle to Tires Plus to be repaired before getting my vehicle inspection in DC.  When I was told Tires Plus couldn’t repair my vehicle because their mechanic was on vacation for two weeks, I took my vehicle to AAMCO (Gaithersburg).  

From the very beginning, the whole staff at AAMCO went out of their way to do everything they could to repair my vehicle especially Shina and Keith.  Everyone I interacted with at AAMCO displayed excellent customer service.  

Once Keith diagnosed the problem with my vehicle and I authorized the repairs, he worked late to ensure my vehicle would be done before the weekend since I really need it on Saturday.   

About a week after the repairs were done, my vehicle broke down in my office parking lot.    Keith personally drove over to my office several times in an attempt to diagnose the problem and get me back on the road. He and one of the other mechanics worked on my vehicle for over 2 hours in my office parking lot attempting to repair it.  When they got my vehicle back to their shop, it still was not running right and so Keith spent extensive time over the weekend diagnosing the problem.  He even came in on a Sunday when their shop is closed just to work on my vehicle.  

It turns out that the problem all stemmed from faulty repairs I had done at Tires Plus over a year ago.  Keith went out of his way to help me by contacting Tires Plus on my behalf to demand that they pay for the new repairs.  Keith also worked with adjuster for Tires Plus and patiently waited over 10 days for the claims company to accept liability and authorize the repairs.  If it weren’t for Keith’s persistence, Tires Plus never would have accepted responsibility.  

After all the repairs were done, Keith even went back to the adjuster a second time to demand they replace the starter motor that was starting to wear out because of the faulting work done by Tires Plus.  And he actually got them to pay for a new starter motor.

Because of all their help and excellent customer service, AAMCO has earned a new customer for life.  I will be recommending them to all my family, friends, and co-workers.  Thank you to Keith, Shina, and the rest of the AAMCO team.

Wow what wonderful service! I went in for a brake pad replacement and the staff took such great care of me and my car. Not only was the staff super friendly and helpful, but they did such a great job on my car. Shina is the best!!

I was really impress by the friendly and helpful help I had with this AAMCO location. Sheena was very helpful to get my car towed from my local mechanic. Easton then took over to analyze my problem, and got a transmission rebuilt. It was a real pleasure to work with them and got my car on the road again. Thanks.
