My wife and I left the car overnight, this all hallows' evening, to have the transmission checked out. And, when we went to pick it up 10 minutes after closing the next evening, not only did the mechanic NOT recommend any service at that time, but the gentleman went out of his way to ensure our secured car was released back to us in time for me to make it to my USN drill indoctrination the next day in Atlanta. I only hope his daughter wasn't sore with him for being a few minutes late in picking her up, on our account. I have been there before, and then too I experienced honest down-to-earth interactions abiding within the premises. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I am skeptical when it comes to repair shops from previous bad experiences. I was having trouble with my transmission and like you who are probably reading this review and trying to decide on where to take your vehicle. These guys are knowledgeable and honest. Robert, Stacy and Chris are easy to work with, explain everything in detail and got my truck back quickly. And it was done right. All my vehicles will be taken to these guys. Thank you

I am a UGA parent from out of state and I had my son take his car to AAMCO based on their reviews. We took it in for what we thought was a transmission problem. As it turns out the engine had a misfire and just needed a tune up. I figured I had to take it to a different shop but they do total car care here. As an out of state parent I worry about my son getting taken advantage of but these guys were great to work with, honest and they kept me updated on the repairs. I highly recommend AAMCO Athens.

They do good work here. Fair pricing usually. Tracy has been helpful. Meepmeep reflects the friendly atmosphere.

My experience was great! Everyone was super nice and friendly! Beep Beep the cat was the star! He kept me company and entertained while i waited for my transmission oil change:)
