A sight that everyone should take in. Breathtaking views from so many different vantage points and swimming spots too! A fun drive through tight roads down trees that open up to some of the counties most heart fluttering scenes. Take the day and make some memories.

No one should miss this national park. Maine seems like it's so far away and that's exactly how you feel when you get here, it's like another world. The rugged coat is like something you will not see anywhere else, also seeing into any town in early October and you're bound to find a great deal on fresh lobster.

Absolutely breathtaking. From the scenic mountain views to the crystalline trees, early spring is THE time to go to Acadia National Park. It is far less crowded, the tides are more surreal, and if you can convince a pilot to give you a sky tour over the park... do it. Don't think about cost, or be scared, just do it. There is literally no other experience like it, especially at a national park like Acadia.

This National Park is sublime. Watching the waves crash against the rocky coast is one of the more memorable moments of all my trips to national parks. If you only have a weekend, I recommend making use of the park shuttle to hop from key spot to key spot and to also hike at least some of the coast.

Acadia National Park is a jewel on the coast of Maine. There are a number of incredibly picturesque areas in the park proper, with well maintained carriage roads to walk and bike. The nearby seaside village has lots of excellent restaurants, pubs, shops and other places to explore. If you can manage a trip in the fall, be prepared for some of the most breathtaking color you've ever seen. Residents are outgoing and helpful, as are the staff at all the different places to see and shop. It is quintessentially New England in so many ways.
