This is a must see. The grounds of the home are beautiful and lovingly keep. The historic information is presented well and easy to take in. The Tea with Eleanor was a highlight. But above all that are the trails. Great and easy to walk, well marked trails just filled with birds, flowers and interesting topography. Could send a week there. Remember though you need a passport as it is in Canada if you are crossing from the USA.

This is a remarkable place. The park is park with trails and quite a few well designed seaside Vista locations. The main attraction is the Roosevelt family "cottage." It was frequented by several generations of the Roosevelt family. It was a summer get-a-way vacation spot providing the isolation a wealthy, visible family wanted for relation. The Island is now joined to the US mainland at Lubec, Maine.

Didn't plan to go except at last minute. Very well maintained, guides and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Trails could be better marked. Overall worth the trip if you are at all inclined to historical tourism. By the way, I should mention this place is beautiful. Not hard to understand why the wealthy came here for the summer.

Superb! So much to learn and lots of people available to ask questions and give facts. Tea with Eleanor was just fantastic and I will enjoy it again!
