Beautiful Park. All the camp spaces are separated far by Woods right on the bay you can hike down to the water. beautiful sunrises beautiful sunsets. One of the most peaceful campgrounds I've been too. Cool little hikes on the property.

This park is GORGEOUS. Great for a day visit or an extended stay. I've been camping here for 20 years, brought my fiance a couple of years ago for our first vacation together, and he loved it so much we got married here last weekend. We brought our friends and families, put them up in one of the group camp sites (very reasonably priced), and rented a day use area by the water for our ceremony. It was BEAUTIFUL. My mother-in-law doesn't even like camping, and even she said how stunning the location was! The meadow near the day use area where we had our ceremony had over a dozen kinds of wild flowers in bloom, and in the evening, the field literally glittered with thousands of fireflies. Many of our friends said they had never seen so many stars at night. In late July/early August, when we usually visit, that same field is covered in wild blueberries, which are great to take back to your campsite for blueberry pancakes. Whether for a special occasion, family gathering, camping trip, or a quick day trip, this park is absolutely worth a visit.

There's not a bad site in the whole park as far as we can tell. Beautiful and mostly secluded sites with great views. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Mosquitoes were thick in late June, but it was completely worth it to stay at such a beautiful spot.
