My husband and I found Sandpoint about twenty five years ago by mistake on way home from Lake Havasu.  We enjoyed our vacation with our kids and grandkids for 25 years and hoping it will be open soon.  We liked the rv campground and the easy access to our boat in the marina.  The staff was always friendly.  We were saddened with the closing of our favorite vacation spot and haven't been able to find another park like it

I am retired from the music industry. When I was in my late teens/ early 20s & just starting out in the music business, they used to have a little Bluegrass festival here. My brother & I performed here 3 or 4 years in a row and always had a blast! I always liked this marina. We even brought my dad's 21ft fish/ ski boat one year. At the time, they had a large number of RVs & mobile homes that one could rent and, when ever we were hired to perform in the festival, they always put us up in one of the bigger mobile homes. They were always clean & accommodating, as were  the grounds & facilities, and they even had a fuel station for boats. I was sorry to read in one of the reviews that the marina is closed down. Hopefully, as stated in Tracy's review, they are planning to open again. I just hope that, if true, its as nice or better of a place as it was in the past.

Although this place is closed, we live here full time working for Arizona State Parks to make it a beautiful park again in a few years!
