When your marriage ends it is a very sad thing. And then you’re left with reminders of all the promises made that have been forever broken. Rings carry the symbolism of those promises. It’s a stiff reminder and often you don’t want them anymore. So when my own marriage ended last year I decided I wanted to give the rings to the two best things that came from this relationship. My daughters. 💕 I took my vision of melting these rings together and forming new pendants for each of my daughters to Akala Jewelry and asked them to help me make hurt into happiness really. And while it took me a long time to accomplish this, patience paid off. The girls absolutely love them and so do I. I’m so glad I didn’t just pawn them off for some quick cash. Now the girls have something special that all came from where they came from. 💕💖💕 Thank you Akala Jewelry! Thank you Marty for designing these pendants so beautifully and thank you Kim for taking the breath taking picture of the original rings before they were melted down. It really helped my daughters understand exactly what had been done to design the pendants they received. Your staff was very compassionate and also knowledgeable when it came to selecting the chains to pair the pendants with. Thank you all so much!

Took in my grandmother's ring to be properly sized as I had taken it to a different jewelry store prior for sizing and it came back a mess. Akala took one look at it and said they could fix it quickly and properly. I left my very special item with them on a Saturday afternoon and they phoned me Tuesday morning to tell me it was all fixed up and ready for pick up. They were FANTASTIC it looks great fits even better and was cared for in there store. I will be returning here for ALL future services, by far the best place around, excellent service and knowledge 😊😊😊 thank you guys so much.

My husband had a custom ring made for our 10 year anniversary. I gave him a few ideas of what I liked and Marty at Akala designed the perfect ring. It couldn't have turned out any better! I would recommend Akala Jewelry to anyone especially if they are looking for a beautiful, custom piece.

Marty worked with me to create a new ring from my existing wedding ring and my husbands wedding rings, both of which were in need of repair. The ring I have now is absolutely everything I dreamed of. It may not be everyone's tastes and is quite untraditional - but it's totally my style and one of a kind. Thank you Marty, I really didn't think I would ever have my dream ring come to life. It's gorgeous and makes me smile every day. :)

Akala is by far my most trusted jeweler when it comes to custom pieces and repair. I have had my ring completely re-built by Marty and could not be happier with the results. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and Marty is very very talented - I would refer business to him any day!
