Great resort! Don't let the exterior fool you, the rooms are all updated and include fully equipped kitchenettes. There is a heated pool, hot tub, dry sauna, and continental breakfast of donuts, fruit, and toast. The staff coordinate daily events for vacationers and can make recommendations for local places of interest. It's also within walking distance for groceries and some restaurants.

Older but well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Condo was clean and equipped with the expected stuff. Pool area, tables, chairs, games and common areas all nice. We will stay here again. Only downside was some traffic noise due to proximity to the road.

Not sure what everyone expects a privately owned non Corporate jerk Tahoe resort to have. Its got everything you need to have a comfortable night's sleep. You don't come to Tahoe to enjoy your room full of unusual goodies, you come to Tahoe to enjoy Tahoe. Excellent service, great rooms, big tvs, free movies, heated pool all year round(spa? Check! sauna? Check!), dog walk area, kids play ground, free laundry, free light breakfast. Let's not forget that every week they have new activities going on such as karaoke, wine club, lasagna dinners etc... You're a two minute drive from the casinos, less than that to Heavenly. You've got 7/11, a Taqueria, Liquor store, and more with in a 60 second walk from there... What more do you want??? Have stayed here over 30 times in the span of ten or so years, and I will never stay anywhere else while visiting Tahoe. Viva Americana.

Great area, just on the outskirts of downtown Tahoe. The staff here is very friendly and you have daily schedule of crafts if you'd like to participate in those. I also really appreciate that you can rent out bikes, lawn chairs and etc free of charge for your use while you're staying here.

Facilities, room, maintenance were excellent. Though we stayed for 1 night, it is great for extended stay as it has almost everything that a family would need. Right from Mixer / grinder, plates & dishes, silverware, hot plates, outdoor grills and barbecue. The lawns are well maintained, has decent sized pool and also includes cold breakfast. All in all really enjoyed my stay here. Just 1 thing, the sofa bed mattress (we were 4 people in a studio room) was adequate but not the most comfortable.
