It's one thing to go to an emergency vet and for them to have emergencies that need to be attended to before seeing you. But when you're waiting for an hour and a half with a seriously stressed out dog that's in pain and you hear the vets laughing and whistling on the other side of the door, that's a different story. I left before even seeing the vet because it was clear that no one there actually cared about my dog. The people who I did see were completely unconcerned while my dog was panting and coughing with hooked needly plants stuck in her fur, near her mouth, legs, and tail. I hope the vets had a great time doing whatever that they were doing behind that door while my dog was in that state. I got stuck by those plants too, and believe me, it was painful. I will never take her here again. EDIT: Just to be clear, my issue with this vet is not the time I spent there, but the lack of care and compassion I received while there. Of course, when there is an emergency and a animal could die I want to a vet to see that animal first. However, when I was there, I received 0 care and compassion from the vets. The people I talked to didn't seem to understand what I was there for. I got a lot of blank stares. Not a single person there acknowledged that my dog was in pain. They just looked at her and then left me there. No one said that they were busy (except for the receptionist who only told me this as I was leaving), no one told me it might be a while because there were other patients. If someone had said something as simple as "I understand that your dog is in pain, but there are a few other animals that need to be treated before we can get to you. Please be patient" I almost definitely would have felt better about my experience. In fact, I might have left sooner instead of subjecting my dog to more pain waiting around. And from my perspective of already not feeling like anyone really understood or cared about what happened to my dog, then I heard a vets laughing and whistling. I was told on the phone today, well don't you want people to enjoy their job? Of course, but raise your hand if you would want a doctor to be laughing while you're having a heart attack in the hospital. No one? If there really were animals there that could have died without getting care, why were there vets laughing and having a good time at their job? Why weren't they taking care of the dying animals? That's just a poor excuse for a lack of compassion. If someone is bringing their animal to an emergency vet, they're already not going to be in a good mood. THE LEAST YOU COULD DO is be a little bit compassionate and understanding instead of carrying on like you don't have a care in the world. That's why I wrote this review. Not because I was annoyed at the time. I was annoyed at how little the people there seemed to care. Now that I spoke to them on the phone, I'm even more inclined to say that I will NEVER go to this vet again.

I took my sick dog in for an emergency check up. I am not blamimg this place for my dogs death as he was old and in bad shape. What is unforgivable is the fact that they kept me waiting in a room away from my dog for over an hour...and when they finally brought him to me he had already passed away. No communication in between...no one to give me an update on my dog for over an hour. A family member for 17 years passed away alone because i made the mistake of bringing him here. What was worse was the mannerisms of the doctor that brought my dead dog to me..her responses were very aloof and said she said it was not her fault our dog died ALONE! At one point she said she knew where I worked...what bearing that has is beyond me! In my time of stress and greif i feel so bad for my dog...PLEASE READ OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS! AND SPARE YOURSELF THE MISERY OF THIS HEARTLESS PLACE!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They helped us with a weekend emergency situation with a kitten. I would recommend to anyone with pets in the area.

I took my pug in for emergency care when he had an allergic reaction. Staff was very kind and professional. The building is clean and easy to navigate. They were very efficient and started care right away, updating me frequently.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A DECISION: this is the second time this has happened! The first time was our dog. They continuously are jumping to the most extreme conclusion and not suggesting or mentioning any blood work and didn't mention an X-Ray or results after taking him for that reason. They've done this with our cat, just today, quickly jumping to the conclusion of having urinary blockage (surgery) rather than the more common possibility of a urinary tract infection (antibiotics) which are VERY different. Throwing thousands of dollars didn't save our past pets here, and some places I think it may, but not here. Not even worth the thought of coming. It's scamming for money by making it seem necessary, but anyone with medical experience, knows these procedures aren't necessary by going on guessing instead of finding out what's wrong.
