Seriously depressing site. They had just a limited amount of stock. I've been a loyal Ann Taylor customer for years. I hope they're not going to close my favorite store.

I went there to buy a Christmas present for my wife.  Their selection of Petite sizes were quite limited, but I did find something I liked.  I paid cash for it.  Well, it turns out it didn't fit her so she went back to return it.  They refused to give her cash back even though she had the receipt.  I bought something else at another store for her with cash, and with the receipt they always give back the money.

We won't be going there anymore.

Addendum

Well it went from really bad to incredibly bad.  Since she had a store credit she had to use, she spent some time there looking at what she could get.  When she found something she liked, they didn't have it in her size.  She went to the salesperson so she could order it, and was told that the store credit she just received could not be used to order things, apparently you can use it only for in store merchandise.

I expect that with this type of customer service in a few years we'll see the Ann Taylor stores in the dustbin of history.

First time in this store and had a wonderful shopping experience. Joanna helped me and she is a true representation of what visiting Ann Taylor should be. Not only is she chic, attentive, helpful, and patient, she is also very knowledgeable on the store processes, to the point that she coached another store in order to find my item and make sure my order was processed correctly.  I'm a very picky shopper and I'm very pleased to have visited the store. I hope this level of service is maintained.
