In the summer they have an amusement park with small rides perfect for the kids or your grandkids to spend some fum times. Also has a small Zoo and gift shop. This park and zoo was there as far back as I can remember. I've been going there since I was a child in the 1950s.

This is a very small park zoo but it is kept very clean and neat. There are a lot of benches and shade. The animals are usually sleeping during the day. The mountain lion was my favorite animal to see there

As a new resident of Merced I was very disappointed to see so many homeless people making their home at the park. I'm not saying the homeless are a bad people,  but I was just amazed that homeless where all over the place, trees, benches and even along the river. This park could look better Merced.

It's just not the same, the rocket is gone, not as many cool animals as before, and why is Kiddie land so limited on space? I make do because my kids enjoyed it long ago and now my grandkids do.

Very nice park. Kids really enjoyed themselves here and all of the parents seemed to get along. Rides and snacks were fun and affordable. Wish all public places could be half as welcoming and fun.
