Hi, my name is Brandon Landers. I use to work for ardent mills and when it was called Horizon Milling. I was employed 10/14/2013 by Mr Mike Keenan, I loved ardent mills and still do. I was fired because of an employee name Mr Charles Brown was assaulting me. Mr Charles assaulted me on camera 3 times and also in front of managers,employees and out of town guess that's from Denver head quarters to help us fix our pack machine. Mr mike Keenan suspended me because I told him this the 3rd time that Mr brown assaulted me and he said he would do something about. I told him it's to late after the third time to do something because I feel my life is in jeopardy, Because Mr. Charles said that he was going to get his sons to come up here and fight me. I told Mr Mike since he's not doing anything about this I'm going to Houston port police department to Press charges against Mr. Charles Brown for hitting me. mr Mike Keenan told me in front of Ms Becky and the Denver team members.if I do he would promise me that I would not be working here in front of Ms Becky and the Denver team members. I clocked out and made an report. mr Mike told me to come back tomorrow in the morning and he would deal with me, in front of the Houston port Police officer. When I made the report mike Keenan was mad the next day til the point he suspended me so he could protect the company, himself and Charles. I came back from suspension Charles brown was still harassing me and Mr mike was all over me like white on rice. The last day I worked March 3,2015 he told me to go home I was suspended. I asked why he said he will call me and let me know. March 14,2015 he fired me. I asked why he never told me why. He told me in a year I could reply. It's almost 2017 been a whole year already. Every time i apply for a position that's open that I qualify for, I received a message in my email less then 10 minutes from HR saying that I'm not qualified for the position, but I have 2 years of experience in that position. I work in any position besides miller and maintenance. Still I'm receiving messages in my email Saying I'm not qualified. All I want is my job back nothing else. If any body can help me with legal action against ardent mills I would really appreciate it. These companies with billions treat new employees like crap not fair. I lost everything I had behind someone bothering me at work all I asked them to do was talked to him. Ardent mills made my life hard and it's getting harder and harder. It's either help me get my job back ardent mills our else.... The people that's behind working us like slaves are in Denver. They said it's mandatory to work 7 days a week 12 hrs or better. Every day didn't mind doing the work, I just didn't mind a 6 foot giant putting his hands on me. Soon as I press charges against him they fired me and erased 3 videos of Charles assaulting me and another guy name Brandon thrower he's just as big as Charles brown

This happened multiple times during the past four months. I don't even work for this company, and yet here I am writing a review. I know one of the employees dearly, and they were made to work a 12 hour shift. They were then called back an hour after they made it home (40 min commute) telling them to come in in four hours. They worked another 7 hours. They did not refuse to go for fear that they would get fired. They worked 19 hours in 24 hours. They need to fire whomever is in charge of schedules at this moment. There seems to be no moral whatsover toward these employees who have big hearts and a family back home.

One of the most unprofessional work environment I have ever experienced. The plant manager was short-timing it and playing favorites, destroying the moral of the other employees. Why give facilities to one employee and help them shine, instead of giving ALL the employees the same facilities to do their job and YOU, the facility manager, shine instead? A poor facility manager who has been told too many times he is smart. He is NOT. The lab manager, whom I was working under, said to me about on of the best workers, "I tried to get him fired when he first started because he was so annoying." What?! Work is not evaluated here by performance but who can get close to middle management to stroke their ego. The production manager pushes NO MORE than 6 employees at any given time and cannot meet orders and puts the onus of responsibility on his employees for incomplete/error-filled work that is within his spectrum. And they FAILED the only inspection they had to pass for a major customer this management team had already lost before and were trying to reacquire the business. And they do the metric/data dump, where every task, item, and employee is a number, feed into an algorithm and spit out the other end to determine their worth at Ardent Mills. This has nurtured "an every man for himself" environment. ZERO stars.
