I asked the owner to put on two brand new metal peddles because at the time i had plastic and one was broke i payed for the metal ones i saw in the store and came back the next day to a worse peddle that was plastic and i said i did not pay for this i payed for the medal ones and he refused to put them one or give me my old one back or a refund so therefore never go to Argonne cycle. I would rather eat poop off the ground then go to that greasy place. They dont listen, DONT GO THERE!!!

The price's were fair, and the owner was very helpful. I would recommend Argonne cycle to everyone.

So I just stopped by this place. My landlady's kid got a flat his his little 16" wheel Specialized Hotrock and she unfortunately brought it here for repair. Whomever it was that attempted to repair the flat, did so with a 22" innertube, and had tucked it inside itself to create a 16" tube. I found this out because he immediately got a flat tire again :( I replaced the tube with the correct size for her, and brought it by here to just see exactly what his thoughts were about about his attempted repair. I pulled in to the back lot only to see some greasy long-haired bum, smoking a cigarette, locking up a bunch of junk bikes out back. I asked him if he worked there and he replied he did. I opened the hatch on my Subaru and asked him if he recognized the bike. He tried to lean into my car to get a better look, and I asked him to not get the smoke near my car. I then told him that it was replaced with a 22" tube, at which he balled up his right fist and became incredibly agitated. He told me to leave, in so many words, and took an aggressive stance as if he was going to hit me. I casually closed my hatch and told him I only came by to see what he thought of his sh**ty business practices. He then ran inside and grabbed a rust-colored bicycle fork and came at me with it. I was in absolute disbelief the whole entire time. He took one swing at me, which I debated letting him just hit me, before I backed off and immediately dialed 911. this happened at 10:30 on 4/25/2016. This place is an absolute garbage hole, and I would most-strongly urge anyone to seek other alternative means of whatever your need for a for a bicycle shop is.

Paul sold us a bike on eBay then emailed that he didn't make enough on the deal so he backed out of the sale. When I informed him that eBay auctions were legally binding contracts, he changed his story and said that it happened to sell in his store. Very disappointed with his poor character and not following through on his commitments.
