My husband had a hx many many years ago of street drug addiction. He is now 48, disabled and been getting his pain medication through another doctor. Due to other doctor not accepting insurance and charging me $75 a month, we decided to come here. Bad choice!!! My husband is disabled, fall risk, and been diagnosed by several doctors. Due to heart condition he is unable to get 2 knee replacements. This doctor refused to give him what he has been taking because of a young adult addiction. I am amazed how other doctors prescribe him an opiate but you can't. Total waste of my time, strength and energy.

I understand the negative reviews but vehemently disagree with them. I have been under the care of Dr. Scott and his staff for quite some time. I see them for my back and my knees. These folks see hundreds of patients, If you follow the regimen I promise you will see results but that's my opinion. I'm just a retired family doctor...

I never write these reviews, but I just have to as a warning. If you want to get to the bottom of what is wrong with you and get well this is not the place to go. If you want pain medicine and just be medicated these doctors are a good fit. I never did their epidurals. After three MRIs they found nothing wrong and they still wanted to give me invasive epidurals. I have severe inflammation that I have been curing on my own by cleansing and changing my eating habits. Of course, that would not be profitable.

These guys are running the latest 'trendy' AMA 'play-book', and it's not designed to deal with individuals, but with statistical mean, as interpreted by the latest contemporary wisdom. This is simply part and parcel of the latest response to hysteria around opioids, and the currently fashionable prohibition of them (whether appropriate to any particular individual or not). I suspect very few abusers will find this place helpful. But then a lot of pain sufferers won't find any effective treatment here either. If you want to try a GABA analogue, this is the place for you, as there's no hysteria around them....yet anyway (they're so poorly understood and so new that could change later though) and it seems they're the 'go to' here, albeit definitely 'off label'! And this is the place to go if you want advice to exercise....but if the pain management you're consulting about is pain related to current vigorous exercise, this place won't be helpful. To credit them they are cautious, and treat every patient a bit like a criminal. Which does seem entirely suitable to be current attitude of the overall medical establishment as a whole today. One could do worse though. At least here they don't just write a 'scrip' for codeine as a matter of course (but then no body does anymore, so....). The insistence on any conceivable alternative to that, no matter how ineffective (or expensive), may be inescapable, but it's also unhelpful. In short, this otherwise excellent practice is a perfect example of highly professional implementation of the very badly broken state of the practice of Pain Management in the US today, yet another case trying to 'help' the 10% at the expense of the other 90%. If you don't mind being the subject of the latest experiment by 'Big Government' medicine, then this is really a well run and professional establishment in all other regards.

The worst pain specialists, unless your geriatric. Don't come here if your a hard working person just trying to get it all to stop. I came here because I had ahccs. No other choice. There are docs here but only seen one once. And I been coming here a year. Have to go in every month to. When you know your body better than they do they will still do what you don't want them to. Then they put you through more pain to find the cure for you. When you have gone through 5 procedures on your back like me. Just to be in more pain than before and they don't care. It really pisses someone off. So save the head ache and find a different doc. Better yet find a doc. The whole year there only saw doc once all others are nurses and ma's. If you call the triage line. That's even worse. Their bedside manner sucks. Can't say anything good about this place. All lies and crap
