Have been going here for more than 15 years. ALWAYS professional, friendly staff and best exam I have had. Tried going to other places, and always end up back here to correct glasses obtained after a different person doing the eye exam!! Worth the effort, even though not close to home.

Absolutely the worse medical establishment I've ever had the misfortune of visiting.  Had to walk out when my 8:15am appt for a pre-surgery consultation was indefinitely delayed due to 8 inmates in orange jumpsuits, shackled hands and feet were escorted in to be seen by Dr. Matt Heller.  The 4 of us already having been walked over to the other office, had to then be told we had to go BACK to the other/intake location and would not know when we'd be seen.  I have work responsibilities with good insurance.  I get the State probably pays a good amount of money to see the inmates, but that should not come at the expense of pre-scheduled appts.  I've cancelled my upcoming surgery and WILL NOT be back.  The first time I waited over an hour to be seen.  It's a sh!+ show...stay away! #EyeDoctorsofArizona

It pains me to write a bad review but this was by far the worst wait time in an office I've ever had. As a fair warning to anyone coming here, you should come atleast an hour or 2 early than your appointment time if you're in real pain because you will be waiting hours. Even if you came on time, you will be seen later than your initial appointment. We waited 2 hour after a scheduled appointment just to be sent to another room. Even now we've been waiting an extra hour for that one. 

How can you have a appointment system and still be seeing people before others? 8 people were seen before us and they came in after us. This isn't how a medical center should work and I should know since I worked at one. This is a ridiculous wait time for appointments.

I know Dr Heller is one of the best , but in the waiting room , it usually takes me an hour to an hour and a half to  be seen weather I'm early or two minutes late. The Cataract in my eyeball was 20 years plus Olde and was a pain to take out. I'm sure Dr Heller did a fine job , but I still cannot see out of mine I eye yet. I was told it may take three to four weeks to see Improvement , but meanwhile it hurts like a son of a blank , and the eye drops help also little !, and they don't give me no pain medicine for it, and it drives me crazy . hopefully all will be well in another week or two, for I cannot wait to be able to see you again with the one,  and have my other eye  taken care of as well , that one we'll go smoothly , I know.
