Who are we kidding? Furniture shopping can be worse than going to the dentist. So many options, choices, near misses, upgrades, options you don't need or like and the list goes on. We looked for 3+ months for the right couches. We've been in every store from Bountiful to Provo and most multiple times. But it wasn't until today when we walked into the Salt Lake Ashley store (and were greeted by Maria and DJ) that we felt truly cared for, listened to and valued. We feel like we made more than a purchase and they made more than a sale. We were able to negotiate a price we felt was more than fair and we'll certainly be back for any other furniture needs. Only difference is, we ended this quest here but we'll start there first next time! Thanks Maria and DJ. You both are first class people and you have our respect and gratitude. P&B Montoya

Worked with Cinnamon (yes, the saleswoman's name is Cinnamon) and had a fantastic experience. I won't work with anyone else. She was the most helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding sales person I've met in a long time. Ashley furniture as an overall experience was adequate, but the saleswoman really made it all worth it. We gave her our price range and she worked her hardest to find us a sectional that fit our needs and our price. We found a sectional at a competitor that we really liked and she was able to work some magic to help us stay with her. I would return for my next furniture purchase, but I will only work with her. She is fantastic and deserves much more than the commission rate they pay her.

Terrible communication and customer service, will not be shopping at Ashley's. They wasted so much of my time. I bought this sleeper sofa, and opted for delivery. We told the sales rep. that it'll need to go up a pretty narrow staircase, but that there's a big balcony in the room it could come through. He said that the delivery team would be able to get it there no matter what. When the delivery team arrived with the sofa, they said they weren't able to take it where we wanted it to go in the house - apparently they can't use windows or balcony's. So we didn't accept delivery. We went to the store that day to discuss our options, and decided we would pick-up the sofa ourselves as the price for delivery wasn't worth them dropping it at the front door. The sales rep. said we could pick it up that day. After leaving for a few hours, and organising a method to pick it up, we got a call saying it wouldn't be available until 4 days later (Tuesday). On Tuesday, I called to let Ashley's know we'd be picking up the sofa from the store the following day, and they said that was fine. A few hours later I get a missed a call, asking where were because they were expecting us to pick up the sofa that day... I called again to let them know we would pick it up from the store the following day. She asked whether we were picking it up from the store or the warehouse, I again specified we would be picking it up from the store. Wednesday arrives, and we went to collect the sofa. We arrived at the store, and they said that it wasn't there, it was at the warehouse... and they're closed. The next day we go and pick up the sofa from the warehouse after countless attempts. Finally we received it, and got it up the balcony ourselves with no problems. Terrible communication and customer service, will not be shopping at Ashley's. They wasted so much of my time.

The worst customer service in the Valley. They're very good at looking at you when you walk in but WILL NOT smile or greet you. Walked through the ENTIRE store and not once did someone say hello or even smile. Just bought a house and want to fill it... Found multiple items we'd love to purchase and no one wanted to help us.Told a manager about our experience and he did not care at all. It was almost embarrassing. Will NEVER shop or give them my business again.

I have a dresser I bought from Ashley 8 years ago. One of the drawer glides broke. I went to Ashley to see if they could get a replacement part for my dresser. The part was no longer available due to its age. However, they searched and found one that would work for me. It took some investigation and effort on their part. Once they found a glide that would work, they ordered it and had it shipped directly to my house. Even though my dresser warranty expired years earlier, they didn’t charge me for the new glides. They went above and beyond what they were “obligated” to do. Great customer service. Thanks Ashley!
