I did not have a big budget for a used car. Number 1 on my list was a Subaru Forrester. I also didn't want something with very high miles which is hard to find. 

I worked with Josh Ingram at the AutoNation Subaru in Hunt Valley, MD. We were patient and he eventually found something for me that checked all my boxes. When it came in as a trade-in, Josh made sure I was the first person to see it. It was in great shape and only had 65K miles. I was very happy with the job he did in finding this car and working with me.  I think I got a fair price and was happy with that. 

Also the prep work by the mechanic was very good as they put on two new tires, new brakes, and headlight covers which tend to yellow over time. The mechanic showed me the work he did before I bought it which was very helpful for me making a decision on this car. The detail person, Miguel, did a fantastic job cleaning up and detailing the car. It looked perfect when he was done. Also, another employee sat with me in the car and showed me how everything worked. 

Needless to say, I love the car and was very happy with everything. I had never had any dealings with this dealership previously.

AutoNation quoted the best price for the routine pm work on our 2010 Forester (timing belt replacement). We contacted the service rep two or three times beforehand to nail down the details. The communication was clear including receiving a reminder email two days prior to our appointment. Once in the shop the work was completed on time and at the quoted price. Great job.

I have been bringing my car here for service for over a year now, despite having purchased it at another dealership.  They are always polite when I come in and the work is done well.  Three stars reflects the average amount of time it takes to get work completed (almost two hours for a pre-scheduled oil change) and for the fact that their on-line scheduling system is not helpful. Often times appointments don't get transferred to their actual book and don't even think about feeling like a request for a loaner car during your appointment has been arranged.  It is best to almost always call to make appointments, but when you do it will be done correctly.

I was able to have my car towed over and schedule an appointment without being there in person.  That is great flexibility.  My car was checked and fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Friendly and helpful.

My wife and I recently just purchased our first Subaru from hunt valley, and we couldn't have been more pleased the service was fantastic our agent Josh handled everything quickly and efficiently while making the whole process not feel mechanical and cold. Everyone in the building were so nice we have a one year old and she just wanted to run around no one minded her screams of joy and some of the staff played tag with her it was a great experience and we'll surely be back to get our next Subaru here!!! Thanks to Josh again for making the experience smooth and enjoyable 🖖🏻🕉💯🙏👍🏻
