After a frustrating experience at Verizon, the representative suggested Batteries Plus Bulbs to try to fix my iPhone 7's shattered display since they refused to approve my insurance claim. I didn't have any hope that it would be salvageable, but I had nothing else to lose. When I got there, Jay and Mike were both assisting other customers and I stood patiently for my turn. I listened and observed, and they were extremely knowledgable about their products.. Both customers walked out giving great praise for their help. My turn. I approached the counter and slowly placed my phone down in front of Jay. He smiled, pointed at me and said, "You need your screen replaced!" Jay helped me through the paperwork and Mike discussed some options for screen protectors that they could apply for me before I left. I ended up leaving for a couple of hours to run some errands and to give them some extra time to work on it since I didn't have an appointment and I didn't want to jump ahead of anyone. When I got back, I was in shock that my phone looked brand new. The screen WORKED. I would have hugged the guys, but that probably would have been weird, haha. All in all, GREAT customer service and a GREAT experience.. And I will definitely be back, if not for another shattered screen, but to check out all of the really cool gadgets they have around there! (Should be named "Batteries Plus Bulbs Plus Cool Stuff")

The absolute worst customer experience I have ever received! I came into the store needing a new laptop charger. They did not have it in stock, so the sales associate informed me that he needed to make a few calls to place the order. I made it extremely clear that I needed the charger to be sent to a different store and he informed me that it would be there 4-5 days later and that he would give me a call when it was ready for pick-up. I was in the store over 20 minutes just to place one order. Five days later, I had still not heard anything about the charger, so I called the store I was picking up from. The associate there told me he needed to check with his operations manager and he would give me a call back. Never called me back. Seven days after the order was placed, I received a call from this store saying that my charger was ready for pick-up even though I made it evidently clear I needed to pick it up at another location. I informed the associate of this (even though there is a clear line item on my receipt stating this) and he said he could get it on the truck Monday. I finally called again Wednesday where I was told the charger had arrived (they did not call me). I went in to pick it up and waited in line for about a half hour. When I finally got up the register I explained the situation and the sales person told me it was a "weird" thing to do. He then had to call the originating store so that they could release it to me. Another 15 minutes wasted on these idiots! I will NEVER shop or recommend any Batteries Plus store again!!

Batteries Plus Bulbs now has a customer for life! It was the day before my daughter had to leave for college and her cell phone screen went blank. We frantically talked to several repair companies but no one would touch the phone because it was not a mainstream brand name. In desperation, we took it to Batteries Plus Bulbs on Padonia Road in Timonium. Sales representative Eric went above and beyond to help us out. He was a very, very rare mixture of competence, courtesy, and compassion. He fixed the phone for an amazing price ($15!). In my daughter’s words... “ YES!!!” I’d give Batteries Plus Bulbs a thousand stars if I could. Now, if only they could fix blank-faced teenagers....

order was ready when I arrived, had core with me and received refund, battery installed with no issues and cranks over good even when engine is cold.
