Super cozy! I popped in here on a bitter cold Friday and got an oat milk cortado with hazelnut and it was delicious. The milk was frothed to the perfect consistency and the flavor was excellent. I was on my way to an appointment so I didn't stick around but there was a very spacious and cozy seating area with almost nobody occupying it so it's definitely a good spot to take refuge for a while and relax. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!

I have tried every coffee place in this neighborhood and finally back here. They have very good coffee, and incredible staff! Now I have coffee almost everyday here.

my favorite coffee shop, legit!! coffee tastes incredibly good, the team is super friendly and pastry is wow! my fav is almond croissant. a little cold there bc of the AC but I usually put on a jacket and stay there with my laptop working. great place, highly recommended!

What a cozy environment with amazing staff.  All of the baristas are exceptionally friendly and caring. Their cold brew is very pleasant and one of the baristas makes excellent espresso and latte art. Very swanky spot and it is quickly becoming my go-to place when I’m in Downtown Brooklyn. 5 stars.

Amazing employees, great coffee, and a great atmosphere. The team here is always positive and fun and the coffee is great. Highly recommend grabbing a refillable growler of cold brew which can get you through a week of WFH.

Service was extremely subpar - the barista forced a group of 6 of us to pay for all of our drinks together and then overcharged us all by claiming we all had oat milk. Then, they were very rude as we waited for our coffee, and they complained that we had not tipped enough for the drinks we'd ordered which were just iced lattes  Lemon cake is good though

I used to hate coffee until this establishment defrosted my cold dead heart. Ava Brew's greatest asset is their incredibly friendly staff. It always feels like stepping into a second home when I go for my morning coffee or afternoon pastry. Just like any coffee shop in the vicinity, you can count on Ava Brew for their top quality drinks and speedy service but unlike its competitors, Ava Brew has a level of hospitality that will make even the busiest Brooklynites stop and smile.
