Avis/Budget in Escondido #1 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+⭐ = 6 STAR all because of Ziad Kavvan. There are multiple car rental places around the San Diego area and I will never rent from anyone other then the one in Escondido due to the fact of how helpful the gentleman who helped us with our car rental. I'm talking top-of-the-line Top Notch service. Customer service deserves not 5 but 6 *. Beyond helpful, knowledgeable, funny and just simply great to interact with if you ever need to run a car forget anything else in San Diego and go to Escondido so do your car rentals. Forget the rest I know I have this is my number one and only car rental service place from this point forward all due to the experience with the gentleman that rented me a car. We're talking someone that makes running a car actually fun I don't care if you come in to the San Diego Airport take a taxi Escondido to rent your vehicle at least I know I would it was a great experience I can't wait to have to run a car again it was a wonderful place and it made me forget every other car rental place San Diego definitely don't go anywhere else

Fast in and out quickly also the staff is helpful and nice. The Avis app works I haven’t had any issues my experience is always good at this location

I wish we had read the reviews before renting from this location.  Scheduled to return the car on Saturday at 1 and got there about 10 minutes late.  They were closed.  When I went in to return the car on Sunday, I suggested to the employee it would be good customer service if they had verbally mentioned to be on time on Saturday as they close at 1.  Her comment was, "Our hours are posted on the door."  Needless to say I was a bit shocked.  Computers down so I have no receipt and have no idea what the final charges will be.  Said they would email when computers are up, never received a receipt.  Will have to follow up, again, tomorrow.  Will never rent from this location again, nor from Avis!!!
