The ease of using the online application for renting the van was a "God send" and applying my AARP discounts helped out. The rental was clean and comfortable for the six of us that traveled to New York and back. 
Dropping off the rental was a snap. I highly recommend AVIS because as their saying goes they really do try harder.

I rented a vehicle from them for a funeral and returned on time. I had proof I returned it on time and they charged me an extra two days for the rental. I talked to the lady I rented it from she said she remembered me and would fix the issue she did not. I got ahold of another person asked to speak to manager he said was not available. He took my number and the problem I had and said he would have him call and fix it. I have yet to receive a phone call and nothing has been done about it. I would not rent from this place they apparently don't care about customers if you have a problem. I even called Avis online to straighten it out and they where worse. Do not rent from them I warned you.

I called your place and left number with workers twice for manager to call. I have never received a call back. I did everything I could do to resolve it. You have my number so you can call me.

We always use Avis when we visit New Hampshire; the car selection is good, the pick up and drop off is easy, and the staff are professional and very nice.  We especially like Therese, in the Lebanon Airport rental office.  Thank you!

Beware vehicle substitution! I reserved a 'Premium' grade Suburban (or similar) for a long trip (very expensive). I called a week in advance to confirm that the vehicle I would receive would be a Suburban or similar - they said it would be. IT WAS NOT. It was a Ford Expedition...NOT even the EL (extended Length) edition, just a regular Expedition which is MUCH smaller than a Suburban. This substitution ruined our trip and caused tremendous hardship. I called Avis about the situation and I was VERY disappointed with their customer service and the overall response was basically, "We reserve the right to substitute vehicles". BEWARE VEHICLE SUBSTITUTION!
