Perched on a hill, the Pines Motel boasts beautiful views of the scenic Cottonwood and Verde Valley areas. The Pines Motel is in the middle of it all. Enjoyed my stay here very much. Entire staff is incredibly friendly & accommodating. Very clean. Comfy beds (and pillows! I didn’t even bring my own in, which I usually do). Pet friendly. They even have cute little doggy bags, with treats & an extra poop bag.

We abhor chain hotels, especially budget ones (but even top end ones) and always look for independent hotels/motels that offer quality service and price to match what you get. On this point Pines Motel scores pretty high. It has been remodeled since we last stayed there in 2014 and is better than ever. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Even the smallest room was very roomy with a corner chair, table w/2 chairs, and two large beds. Kitchen/bathroom was spotless and design well thought out. A nice surprise was the recycle bin in the room. Never seen that before and it was greatly appreciated. Only negatives are as a green hotel the shower has a low flow nozzle and is pretty weak. Also, the price is a tad bit on the high side. But we'll definitely be back and I definitely recommend for anyone staying in the Verde Valley/Jerome area, and for a cheaper more bang for your buck option over anything in Sedona, which is very close drive away.

Stayed in an apartment suite. Check in was simple and painless. The kitchenette was perfect for the short trip, very clean and (to our surprise) had supplies for cooking and eating. Bed was pretty good, a bit hard but most hotel beds are to me, lots of pillows (6 on the bed). Two TVs in the suite and a channel guide (a welcome bonus). Plenty of parking, and a good distance from the noisy street unlike a few competitors. I'll definitely be suggesting this place to friends who visit Cottonwood or Jerome! Whoever owns and runs this motel cares about their service and quality, that's very apparent.

We stayed in a mini suite. The room was reasonably priced and very clean. The staff was nice and accommodating. I would stay here again.

The motel offers an apartment suite which we prefer to rent for visiting relatives. It is always very clean, comfortable and the staff makes every stay enjoyable. The only negative is that it is a little dated, and the dishwashers take forever to run.
